With scores of live concerts and performances cancelled until at least 2021, we need to recoup £66,000 of income which has been lost to the COVID-19 pandemic so far.
The corona pandemic has changed life as we knew it. Lockdown restrictions have left much of the arts industry devastated, and whilst many other businesses may be re-opening, our return to “normal” is still completely uncertain. The crippling loss of income means huge strides need to be made to recoup the lost revenue to ensure that one of Britain's finest chamber orchestras will be ready to face a new future.
As an unfunded orchestra, we rely on the generous donations of our audiences, patrons and donors as well as ticket sales. These funds help support our community work, build inspiring partnerships, as well as helping us to protect the livelihoods and mental wellbeing of musicians and staff, all of whom have been greatly impacted at this time.
Whilst concert hall doors may be closed, we are determined to continue bringing world-class music to as wide an audience as possible, building on our rich heritage as Croydon’s resident orchestra with a national and international reach to give meaning and resonance to the world where we live.
By making a donation today, you can help ensure that our work can continue both now, and in the future.
* By ticking I state I am a UK taxpayer making a personal donation and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
